It’s recommended that we drink at least 8 glasses of water (or around 2 litres) a day. Staying hydrated will allow the cells within your skin to absorb the water molecules, filling them up and plumping up your skin’s appearance.

Just like water, the food you eat affects your skin’s health. Eating a diet that’s high in salts can dehydrate your skin and have severe impacts on your overall health. Making sure you’re getting the required vitamins and minerals from your daily fruit and vegetable doses will always aid in your skin’s recovery process and general health.

  • The Sun

While Vitamin D is good for our skin, and the Sun is a great way to get it – too much exposure will have negative effects.
